The Bucks County Bar Foundation’s mission is to promote and support programs, organizations, and individuals throughout the Bucks County who are engaged in activities designated to foster respect for the rule of law, the advancement of rights, liberties and protections under the law as well as activities which have as a principal purpose the advancement of social justice for the individuals, families and communities of Bucks County.

About the Organization:

The Bucks County Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Bucks County Bar Association. They are the individuals who make it their mission to go out into their community, on behalf of all Association members, to promote the idea of justice through the good deeds of our Association members.

To further promote their mission the BCBF utilizes donations from generous donors to create various programs for members of the community. Along with those programs, the BCBF offers two scholarship programs.

Grants and Charitable Activities:

Most notably, the Bucks County Bar Foundation offers two scholarships – the Thomas E. Mellon, Jr. Scholarship and the William Penn Scholarship. These two scholarships are awarded to Bucks County residents pursuing a career in law or a related field. In 2022, the BCBF awarded $10,000 in scholarships to the students in their community.
