Orange County Bar Foundation

Karen Ruan

February 2017 marked a milestone for OCBF with the purchase of a building in Santa Ana. OCBF’s Board of Directors had a vision of an enduring location, with the support of F & M Bank, visionturned into reality. In May 2017, after paint hit the walls and new flooring paved the way, OCBF moved into its new home.

A Perfect Fit! Amazingly everyone and everything fit with room to spare. OCBF programs now have the atmosphere to provide optimum services to youth and families. Building highlights include a Higher Education Learning Center, complete with a six-laptop station bar, colorful student lockers and educational inspiration literally written on the walls.

The Right Stuff! Educational classrooms are featured both upstairs and downstairs where small and large groups are accommodated in an open classroom style. Simple comfort is had on wheeled chairs of colorful seats of purple and green which easily nest to alter room design. STOP SHORT of Addiction, Cuidate, Madres Unidas, Project SELF and Higher Education Mentoring Programs all use these mobile spaces to teach and learn.
