[St. Croix, VI] — In commemoration of this year’s Law Day, the Virgin Islands Bar Foundation conducted its first annual Law Day School presentations from May 3, 2019 through May 29, 2019. During the Law Day School presentations, the foundation – with the support of volunteer members of the V.I. Bar, visited over 15 schools throughout the territory.
Attorneys provided age-appropriate instruction in the elementary, junior high/middle and high schools surrounding the theme of Law Day 2019, which focused on : First Amendment Freedoms, particularly Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press and its importance to maintaining a free society.
